First elected in 2006, Gregory Carver enjoys serving Knox Township as a public servant. He resides in Homeworth, Ohio with his wife Phylllis and they are the proud parents of three "outstanding" daughters - Carrie (Berger), Megan, and Jessica. He is also the very proud grandparent of two adorable grandchildren - Reece and Kennedy Berger. Employed by American Steel Foundries in Alliance, Ohio for twenty-six years, he is currently employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation in Columbiana County. Gregg has been active in the community as a fireman with the Homeworth Volunteer Fire Company with 25 years of service.

Sara Crawford is currently serving her fourth term as Knox Township Trustee and has thoroughly enjoyed this position and its many challenging problems and gratifying rewards. Sara is a graduate of Alliance High School and Mount Union College. She has the skill and personality to work well with fellow Board Members, the Fiscal Officer, and members of the Road Crew - insuring that much work is done! Her best asset is listening and responding to the residents of Knox Township. She has served as Knox Township's Steering Committee Representative since her first term in office. When she first started as trustee, Knox Township had approximately fourteen miles of dirt roads. Currently, Knox has approximately one mile of dirt road. Grant writing is always a challenging endeavor. Sara has served for two years as V.P. of the Columbiana County Association and eleven years as nominating chairperson of the Association. Sara has served several years as a volunteer at Alliance Community Hospital. In addition, she belongs to the West Branch Ladies Ruritans; Lisbon and Minerva Genealogical Societies; and the Reynolds Family Association of Connecticut. She has been a member of the Mile Branch Grange Fair Board and has served as chairperson of the Community/Crafts Building for the last four years. Also, she is a member of the NRA. Sara is married to William Crawford and they have two children, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Mike Runzo has served as a Knox Township
Trustee since 1994. He is the proud parent of four children - Philip, Kelly,
Adrianna, and Dominic. He resides at Westville Lake with his wife, Sherry,
and two youngest children.

Debbie Hartzell was first appointed Knox Township Fiscal Officer in September, 2002. A graduate of West Branch High School and Kent State University with a major in accounting, she previously worked for Bliss-Salem in Salem, Ohio for twelve and a half years as a staff accountant. Debbie resides in North Georgetown with her two daughters, Jessica and Allyson. She has served as
corresponding secretary for the Columbiana County Township Association since
2006. She is also an associate member of the West Branch Area Lady Ruritans. |
